The year 2023 is coming to an end. My life has seen a lot of changes this year, but then it did every year for the last 7 or 8 years. So, no biggie. There is one anchor, though, and that is the yearly Character Creation Challenge in January! Aka the reason this little place exists, as a place for me to publish my entries and link them from elsewhere. This is the third time I am participating, and I hope to succeed again this year. I might, I might not. One thing is certain, though – there will be lots of fun characters posted in various places on the ‘net. Who knows, I might add a post or three highlighting favorites by other participants if I find the time.
This year I have a different approach to the challenge. I plan to make parties for several games, between 3 and 5 PCs. The number depends on what I find fitting for the system. And I have written out a small list (that I will not reveal) of systems to work with. For one game there is a single character in the previous Challenges, the rest are new. That said, I might still add a party for Kult, just because I like the game. This time the challenge should be interesting.
Anyway, two more weeks until we start – have a great Holiday Season and a good start into the next year as appropriate!
